Antenna Type: 2el Cubical Quad
Designed by: 19DX348 version 1.01 Nov 2005
Boom length: 1,60 Meter
Gain: 7,02 dBI (@27,555 Mhz)
FB <29 dB
FR <29 dB
Impedance: 120 ohms, (1/4 wave 75 Ohm stub)
SWR below 1:1.1 > 200 Khz.
SWR below 2:1 > 1500 Khz
above the freespace azimuth plot.
Above the freespace elevation plot.
Above the gain and front to back front to rear versus frequency
The SWR plot. bare in mind the antenna has a 120 ohm impedance. A matching stub is needed to transfer this to 50 ohms !.
A simple methode is to use 1/4 wave 75 Ohm line …
When you feed it at the bottom the antenna is horizontal.
When you feed it on the side it has a vertical polarisation.
