A “straigth” element yagi with excellent antenna patterns over the entire bandwidht :

A true working horse with a HUGH SWR bandwidth and hugh power handling capabilities.

It will operate from 27,0 till 28,5 MHz with a low SWR.

Above the single ELEVATION plot in freespace @27,600 MHz.

Above, the SWR plot. 50 Ohms over a very wide frequency.

Elements:

All elements are made out ‘STANDARD PKW ELEMENTS”

The center piece is 2 meters long and has a 30mm diameter.

All element tips are 20mm in diameter.

Do not change element diameters lengths or positions, if you need other dimension feel free to ask.

Distance:         Element        Length:

0,000 m           Reflector      5,62 m

FEEDING THE ANTENNA :

The antenna is 50 Ohms, the radiator can be split in half and be fed directly. (a RF Choke or 1:1 balun is always adviced for “all” antennas.)

Not for commercial use.
